Our mission is to educate youth by providing them the knowledge, tools, and resources they need to facilitate their own healing through self care/well being practices.
To create prevention and intervention educational learning for youth to mentally cope with life challenges and improve quality of life for themselves, their family, and community.
I can speak with your youth group from miles away on zoom. Even though it is a virtual space, I can still provide interactive and engaging workshops. Distance will no longer be a barrier for your participants.
Our workshops operate from a person centered, holistic, cultural appropriate, and trauma informed approach.
Mental Wellness: The objective of this workshop is to help improve and encourage mental wellness in the workplace. During the workshop we will discuss common stressors. How to use stress management techniques to distress. Discover ways you can become more self aware of your thoughts, feelings, and actions. The mindfulness STOP method to ground yourself when triggered. You will also have the opportunity to learn about trauma and how vicarious trauma can have long term effects. Information will be shared on how to cope to facilitate healing within. The goal is to give you an understanding on the importance of setting boundaries, how to avoid burnout and best support a colleague dealing with a mental health challenge or illness.
Financial Literacy: The objective of this workshop is to discuss and address money concerns/challenges. We will help you demystify the money beliefs that are holding you back. You will also learn about the history of money and the purpose of it. Last but not least create a simplified budget plan and curate conversations around the consequences of poor money management.
Leadership: The objective of this workshop is to tackle the mind barrier of fear. To bring attention to what is keeping stuck and how to get unstuck. Get a clear understanding of what success looks like and what it means to you. Learn the various strategies on how to shift from a fixed mindset to a growth mindset. You will understand the overall benefit of investing in yourself by developing a morning routine.
