The mindfulness STOP method to ground yourself when triggered. You will also have the opportunity to learn about trauma and how vicarious trauma can have long term effects. Information will be shared on how to cope to facilitate healing within. The goal is to give you an understanding on the importance of setting boundaries, how to avoid burnout and best support a colleague dealing with a mental health challenge or illness.
Financial Literacy: The objective of this workshop is to discuss and address money concerns/challenges. We will help you demystify the money beliefs that are holding you back. You will also learn about the history of money and the purpose of it. Last but not least create a simplified budget plan and curate conversations around the consequences of poor money management.
Leadership: The objective of this workshop is to tackle the mind barrier of fear. To bring attention to what is keeping stuck and how to get unstuck. Get a clear understanding of what success looks like and what it means to you. Learn the various strategies on how to shift from a fixed mindset to a growth mindset. You will understand the overall benefit of investing in yourself by developing a morning routine.
Manifestation: The objective of this workshop is to create a vision board by developing the ideas or goals you have and turn it into a concrete objective you can clearly visualize. The purpose is to know exactly what success or happiness looks like to you.
Our youth peer to peer support and wellness program is designed to provide young people with tools, resources, and guidance to help them navigate the challenges they may face during adolescence. The program is led by trained peer mentors who have personal experience with the struggles of youth and can offer relatable and empathetic support to their peers.
Through this program, young people have a safe space to share their experiences, find support from their peers, and learn healthy coping mechanisms for managing stress, anxiety, and other mental health challenges. The program also offers workshops, group activities, and individual counseling sessions to explore various aspects of wellness, including physical, emotional, and social well-being.
The program aims to empower young people to take charge of their mental health and well-being and build positive, supportive relationships with their peers. By fostering a sense of community and connection, we strive to create an environment where youth feel heard, understood, and inspired to seek help when they need it.
